Verdi Requiem

My second production with the SF Symphony Chorus is the opus that brought me to singing: Verdi's Requiem. When I was 17 years old, I went to a performance at the opera house in Hannover, Germany, and joined a chorus on the next day. I was totally blown away by the power of this music.

I am excited to be performing with the fabulous soloists Sondra Radvanovsky and Dolora Zajick. I have not heart the two men yet (Frank Lopardo and Ain Anger), and am looking forward to getting to hear them as well.

The scheduled guest conductor, Fabio Luisi, has cancelled to replace the ailing James Levine at the Met. The new conductor has finally been announced: James Conlon from LA Opera!.
